his success wasn't just a victory for black Americans. It was a victory for every black man and woman who'se experienced and continues to experience the struggle. From the slaves in Alabama picking cotton, to the slaves in Bermuda who were raped by their masters, we all can identify with the mistreatment of blacks, and to now witness one about to be seated in the White House as Chief Commander that's damn near a MIRACLE!! His victory is not an isolated triumph; people around the world celebrate this historic moment.
One lady from Portugal, that's a country next to Spain, told me they too celebrated his victory and they plan on having a public holiday when he's inaugurated. They even went as far as fasting and praying for him.
Many Bermudians are planning on travelling to D.C. to attend the event.
So although he's American, baby know that the whole wide world was watching, crying, and jumping as this black man made history. Especially people of African descent!

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
