Brookie is what I called her whne she was at AAMU and she is living here in the Metro Atlanta area. She married her high schoo sweetheart and she has two children. One is in college and the other one is either on his way to college or close to it. She and I somehow lost touch. She has `worked for At&T for years, probably still there. If I can reach her I will certaintly let her know you asked about her. She and I transfered to Livingston University to complete our degrees. We moved to Atlanta together 2 weeks after graduating. Life has been great for me.

I was happy to see you at homecoming. I always wondered where you were. I transfered from AAMU to Livingston University and my roomate was from Butler Alabama, Sue Goins, do you know her. School will just be getting underway for us and it will be a crucial time to leave. I was so hoping when I went to the A&M site last night HC would be in the latter part of October,even midway. Anything is possible, but I truly wanted to come for more than a day. Okay I will holla back, once plans have been confirmed either way.

I went on the A&M site to get some particulars about Homecoming 09'. Lo and behold I recognized some familiar names to be honored and inducted into the A&M Athletic Hall of Fame. I would be remiss not to extend a heart-filled Congratulations to you,(Thomas Hopkins), Timothy McCanelley and Doreen Smalls, all Class of 82' graduates. We were and still are an awesome class, but I don't understand how they forgot about me. (LOL) All jokes aside, please extend my Congrats to Timothy and Doreen for their athletic contributions and accomplishments while attending A&M and I extend the same accolades to you my brother. I only wish I could be there physically to help you all celebrate in the joyous occasion, I will be there in spirit. Wish it was Homecoming Weekend! Again, CONGRATS to THREE of the NOTORIOUS NINE and I pray God will Smile down upon each of you when your name is called during your induction ceremony and festivities.

We had to reschedule the relay because of a serious storm. We had tornadoes on that Friday. It has rained here in Huntsville for the last 3 weeks. So, I will let you know how it goes. Thank you so much for your donation. I am going to send you your receipt for your taxes. How are things going with you? Do you plan to come to any of the football games this fall? Are you coming to Knute Walker's wedding on June 20th?

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
