- After graduation, in the summer of 1993 I was employed as a Computer Analyst by a small company named Management and Technology Associates (MTA) in Hunstville, AL . Soon after, I relocated to the Northern Virginia Area in July of 1993 (16 years ago). I have also worked as a Systems Engineer in the past for some of the major U.S. Government Contractors in the Washington D.C. Area like Northrop Grumman and SAIC. I currently work for Lockheed Martin corporation as a Systems Engineer. I married Lisa Cannon Downing in a double wedding ceremony with Edwin Smith and Lorrie Downing Smith (also graduates of Alabama A&M) in July of 1996. I formerly served as a Director of Music and Musician at Antioch Baptist Church in fairfax Station, Virginia for 10 years and currently serve as a Director of Music and Musician at Loudoun Bible Church in Ashburn, Virginia. I enjoy hanging out with family or friends, playing and recording music in my studio, working out at the gym, playing golf, basketball or watching a movie. My NFL team is the New England Patriots.

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone.
