Although I went to UAH, I was one of the only two QUES to pledge at A&M that didn't attend A&M. Through Omega, A&M earned a special place in my memoires, from running around the gym oiled up in the '96 step show to '94 pajama parties in the old gym to hanging on the block on the QUE rock to the Greasy Spoon and sneaking in the Cafe trying to get a free burger. It was all good!
As for post-college career: I went to work as an engineer for Merck & Co. I then worked in various supply chain functions for The Clorox Co. I have recently relocated to New Jersey as a plant manager for Campbell Soup. In 2008 I completed an MBA in Strategy & Global Management from Emory University.
I enjoy mentoring at risk kids. By partnering with Junior Achievement of Georgia, I taught kids about the economics of staying in school and how to succeed in our capitalist society. I believe in this organization and sponsored it at my work site: we donated over $25,000 and hundreds of volunteer hours.
I've started traveling and I have been to Jamaica, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. I'll probably spend New Year's in NYC. I have also started riding a motorcycle.

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?Are You Growing Stars?
