About Me:

After graduation I moved to ATL for a few months, then returned to Chicago to find a job. I currently work for United States Gypsum Company (USG). Completed my MBA from DePaul. Just enjoying my nephew, god kids and the great weather in Chicago. I just joined a group Reach the World a non profit group that works with inner-city kids. They have volunteers travel to different countries and stream the trips into the classrooms. The teachers integrate this into their curriculum. This is great exposure for the kids to different countries and cultures as well as technology. I also participate is lots of different community service projects throught Delta Sigma Theta, Chicago Alum Chapter, and with friends who work for non-profit orgs. Oh, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DA CHICAGO BEARS!!!!!

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
