- I am a 1996 graduate of P.D Jackson-Olin High School located in Birmingham, AL. After graduating from high school I came to Alabama A&M University where I was a member of the Marching Maroon and White Band (C.C.) While at AAMU I pledged Tau Beta Sigma (Fall 97). I graduated from AAMU in the spring of 2001 with a B.A. in Telecommunications. Currently I am a 6th grade Reading/Language Arts teacher at Hudson K-Eight School in Birmngham, AL. I recently completed my Master of Eduction degree in Secondary English/Language Arts from ASU. I am the mother of two beautiful boys. I have a nine year old and an infant.

FLIPPER said… - The MMW Alumni would like to invite you to come out and take part in the MMW Magic City Classic Tailgate, on Saturday October 31, 2009 at 10:00 AM, where the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M University take on the Hornets of Alabama State University.
With this being said, it is necessary that everyone that plan to participate act now, and get your money in today. In order to successfully cover the cost of all tailgating expenditures, each participating Alumni is asked for a minimum of $30 ($60 per couple or family).

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone.
