The Rho Chapter was founded in 1973 by Fredrick McIver on the campus of AAMU for the purpose of unifying the disiplines of industrial arts, education, science, and technology for a common purpose of enhancing professionalism.

So, since graduating from A&M... I got my Masters in Public Administration, Public Policy from the University of Tennessee. There.. I was one of the advisors and stepmaster of the Eta Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.. I moved to the District in 2001.. actually 9.9.2001.. yeah thats right two days before 9/11. I currently work for the Department of Homeland Security in the Grants Preparedness Directorate Division. I am also a certified American Sign Language interpreter and teach it if time permits. I am still active in Alpha currently a member of the PREMIER CHAPTER of DC .

I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone.
