To anyone in Montgomery,If you are interested in helping at the polls and are going to be off work tomorrow, there is a meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the old Hollywood Video on the Boulevard next to Captain D’s - the one across from the old K-Mart. If you don't get there tonight (I just left and it is crowded) come by in the morning after you vote and get an assignment to do something. Go Obama Go !!!!!

TO ALL ALABAMA VOTERS: (This is from a Georgia Voter)
This is how it’s looking in Metro Atlanta THIS MORNING and We've been early voting since early October. Very close to 2 million of Georgia ’s 5.6 million registered voters have already cast their ballot. That means unless another 2 million cram in the polls today, Tuesday is bound to be just as packed. I really really hate ya’ll don’t have early voting in Alabama . As a matter of fact, ya’ll better go get in line now and stay in line until Tuesday (you know ya’ll would do it for Tom Joyner or Prince).

Fulton County Government Center in downtown Atlanta , about 900 people waited in line at 9 a.m.

Gwinnett County, the Centerville Community Center in Snellville opened to its largest crowd of the week with 800 people. It was too early to estimate the wait time, but four-hour waits were common earlier. Sheriff deputies directed traffic.

DeKalb County, 800 people stood waiting in Decatur ; 800 more waited in line at the Memorial Drive Complex location at 9 a.m.

South Cobb Government Service Center in Austell about 600 people lined up for a four-hour wait

North Cobb Senior Center at Kennworth Park in Acworth 500 people

Clayton County, 500 people in line when the doors opened at the main elections office. More than 350 were waiting as the polls opened at 8 a.m. at the Recreation Center

Even rapper T.I early voted, arriving in a bus. Unfortunately, looks like nobody was on the bus but him. He could have brought a bus load of elderly people for all the parking spaces his bus was taking up. But it was his first time and I’m proud of him for stepping up. http://www.accessatlanta.com/music/content/music/stories/2008/10/29/ti_votes_atlanta.html
This is T.I.'s first time voting and although i think that he is a covicted felon he was allowed to vote. Please get out and vote for this man, Barack Obama no matter how long it takes. And even if you don't vote for him, just get out there and vote. It is your right as a citizen.

Get out and Vote your choice

FUNNY!!!

RULES FOR NOVEMBER 5TH

Let's be on our best behavior! Since it looks like Barack is actually going to win this thing there will be a lot of people (some of our co-workers included) who will be afraid that an Obama presidency will usher in the end of days.

They'll be watching us on November 5th (the day after the election) for signs of the end times. To keep the peace and keep a lot of folks from getting nervous, I think we should develop a list of acceptable celebrations and behaviors we should probably avoid - at least for the first few days:

1) No crying, hugging or shouting "Thank you Lord" - at least
not in public

2) No high-fives - at least not unless the area is clear and
there are no witnesses

3) No laughing at the McCain/Palin supporters

4) No calling in sick on November 5th. They'll get nervous if
too many of us don't show up.

5) We're allowed to give each other knowing winks or nods in
passing. Just try to keep from grinning too hard.

6. No singing loudly, We've come this Far By Faith (it will be
acceptable to hum softly)

7. No bringing of barbeque ribs or fried chicken for lunch in
the company lunchroom for at least a week (no chittlings at all) (this
may make us seem too ethnic)

8. No leaving kool-aid packages at the water fountain (this
might be a sign that poor folks might be getting a break through)

9. No Cupid Shuffle during breaks (this could indicate a little
too much excitement)

10. Please no Moving on Up music (we are going to try to remain
humble)

11. No doing the George Jefferson dance (unless you're in your
office with the door closed)

12. Please try not to yell----BOOOO YAH!

13. Just in case you're wondering, Doing the Running Man,
cabbage patch, or a back hand spring on the highway is 100% okay

2008 General Election Sample Ballots
http://www.sos.state.al.us/Elections/2008/2008SampleBallots.aspx

This will show you what your ballot will look like in whatever Alabama county that you vote in. I printed off a copy to give to first voters so that they will know how to vote before they go to the polls.

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
