Hello Family:

If you or someone you know is trying to wear their skinny jeans to Homecoming and needs to drop a few pounds, please visit www.losefatfastonline.com .

Fast, sustainable weight loss of up to a pound a day.

I did it. So can you.

Thanks.

I am so proud of how the XiXi of how you represented at the State Conference in Birmingham. As I was leaving the Sheraton Hotel with my high school FBLA Chapter, I notice a group of well dressed students. I ask what school they were from. When they said XiXi chapter I got so excited. My students thought I was crazy by my reaction. I am proud to say that I was a member of this chapter and I hope that this chapter take away the national title.

Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity, Inc.
Alabama A&M University Chapter’s Triumphant
Performance at FBLA-PBL State Leadership Conference
Next Step: National Conference, Getting Support
Alabama A&M University’s Xi Xi Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Business Fraternity,
Incorporated, travelled to Birmingham, Ala., to compete in the Future Business Leaders of America –
Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) 2009 State Leadership Conference held on April 17 – 18 at the
Sheraton Birmingham Hotel. The trip was a great success as AAMU School of Business students
racked up several awards. The State of Alabama Department of Education sponsors this annual
conference for all active chapters of PBL from all four-year and two-year colleges and universities
across the state.
The AAMU chapter was represented by 30 members who competed in a total of 62 events. The
chapter returned with a triumphant win of 40 awards. AAMU students won 18 first-place awards, 15
second-place awards, and 7 third-place awards. All the first- and second-place award winners will
represent the state in the 2009 National FBLA-PBL Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif.,
June 20-23.
FBLA-PBL's National Awards Program recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of
business and career-related areas. Through state-based competition at the spring State Leadership
Conferences, students compete in events testing their business knowledge and skills. Top state
winners then are eligible to compete for honors at the National Leadership Conference each summer.
The four-day national conference is considered the pinnacle of the FBLA-PBL experience.
The 11,000-member Phi Beta Lambda is the post-secondary division of FBLA-PBL, Inc., a national
business organization dedicated to assisting individuals in maturing into responsible and active future
business leaders.
The chapter is accepting financial assistance “to help send these exceptional scholars to the National
Leadership Conference, where it will proudly represent A&M and the state of Alabama,” says
Augustine Dike, advisor and assistant professor of management and marketing. The students
attending the 2009 NLC need financial assistance from any sponsor as the conference expenses
include: $115 registration fee per student, $160 a room per night for accommodations and $300 for
discounted roundtrip airline ticket per student.
For questions please contact Augustine N. Dike, advisor, at (256) 372-4809.

I pledged in FA 81 (I think) it's been so long. I loved it and had a lot of fun especially singing down the block.

Hello Alumni,
There is a local magazine here in Huntsville, AL doing a contest for the magazine cover for the cutest kid. My son is the cutest. I have never seen an African-American boy on the cover. I need the support of everyone. I graduated from Alabama A&M in 2003 and the single mother to Andrew Byrd-Craig. I do the best I can in the absence of his father Richard Hardin.

Andrew wins no cash prize. Just the cover and the photo shoot. Your help in getting everyone involved would be great. The website is http://web.waaytv.com/bom/index.php?p=4 and he is the only African-American "Andrew" in a sink with soapy suds all around. I know...he's going to be mad at me when he gets older. This will NOT be the cover photo.

Track and follow our group on Facebook...{sear - Andrew Byrd-Craig for Valley Baby of the Month}

There currently is a girl with over 900 votes and another with over 750. Andrew has about 575 as now!

Thanks in advance.

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
