That was a real smoking crew! Back when no walking was allowed...1983-1985. Back when marching properly was still cool. Back when the word funky was an after-thought...second nature even. A time when even the flute section was hard core LOL! A time when only 9 bass horns could out blow 20 on the opposing side of the field. Back when S.T.I.X was developed and the only thing other percussion sections could do was watch in awe. Back when the saxes had true swagger and the baritones were smooth. That was a time when Majorettes were beautiful, Maroonettes were physically fit and the flags knew how to pop that thang…flags that is :)

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?

Are You Growing Stars? Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
