I own several websites and on every site that has a forum there is always a user that creates a second user name to create negative post insulting people or just simply having opposing views. A lot of the time these are computer generated called TROJANS. In our case, probably not that smart just called FOUR HORSEMAN. LOL.

I didn't make it inside to see the show but I saw it on video. The crowd seemed to enjoy it, that's always important. Bragging rights 'til next year. Great Job MMW!

I'm about over these horsemen myself! I read everything that you say but I don't feel inclined to respond. I understand alot of your frustrations however I totally disagree with your method of communication.

Thanks also to the organizers of the 2nd Old School Classic tailgate, It was definately a success.

I am so glad to see that we still have some adults among us. We are all entitled to our opinions and should be able to express them without being ridiculed or harrassed. I do have more respect for the members who express their opinions and are not ashamed to let us know who they are. I also agree with Mr. Pearson who so eloquently expressed that if you have issues with the way the band is being run, direct it to someone who has the ability to do something about it. This forum is not the place. I am disappointed with a lot of the changes the band made since I marched in the late 70's and early 80's. Hell, they eliminated my part of the band entirely (majorettes), but bitching about it anonymously is not the place to express it. So, please as adults and family, respect everyones opinion, and their right to express those opinions without insults or name calling. It appears that Mr. Pearson was simply trying to explain why the band did what they did for their performance. Like it or not, it was an explanation. So grow up people. Act like grow ups and not little kids fighting over the same toy. As Mr. Patrick said, we are family, we should be trying to build up family and not tear it down. Life is too short for the bullshit you guys are doing. Grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frank, I agree. Though we may not agree with the changes that have been made and still may be being made, we must still encourage and support OUR organiztion that ALL of us had a hand in building. We all have our opinions, but let us all remember the big picture: we are still family and all families have their issues but at the end of the day we all love our MMW. PEACE AND LOVE!

Actually if you are the same frat brother then HELL YEAH I have. and YOU know it. I could care less about what you say bruh. Its many reasons why I say what i say. You SAME people posted shit on other band sites under your name, when talking to you in person you say the same thing (exact same verbage) and get on here and go behind an alias. WOW. bruhs get a life. Like I said the band did good and Nobody i heard was verbally saying shit about the band but the SAME damn people who always talk shit about the band. the same people who talked shit about the alumni band. yall travel in the same circle. GET A LIFE! and yes i do support the program. so if i'm supporting the program means i'm swinging on nuts so be it. Who gives a shit! I have REAL PRIDE in my program. If i have a difference of oppinion i'm going straight to the source to air it out and not put it on a public forum to get other people to try and side with me. its called being an INDIVIDUAL. try it sometimes!

Look here MF'ker and excuse my language; but I hate dumb negroes who don't know what the fuck they are talking about. I'm gone come back to your sad ass excuses for the reason why the band walked on the field, which by the way, don't make a damn bit of sense if you have any kind of clue about putting a halftime show together. So you need to either ignore any post the Horsemen makes, or shut the fuck up because you are making yourself look stupid as hell going off of the philosophy of somebody like a Derrick Yates.

Let's scroll down to who you think the Horsemen are. Just because you heard folks talking about that shit(walking on the field) at a tailgate you went to last night don't mean a damn thing. Hell that makes everybody that done said something about the situation a Horsemen if you(Quentin) heard them. You think those frat brothers of yours are the only ones talking about it? FYI.....I've heard SEVERAL people mentioning the same thing. Would you accuse your Momma of being a Horsemen if she talked about it? See where I'm going with this you shallowed minded negro. How bout a what the fuck is up with you swanging from Derrick Yates nuts....Uggh.....that makes you stupid and gay. Have you gone to these same frat brother(s) of yours who you are accusing of being a Horsemen and tell them that you support Derrick Yates as the leader and doing a fantastic job or whatever? I bet you haven't.

If you think you know who the Horsemen are, and so sure of yourself; step to them like a man, and express yourself. Get down or lay down.

WARNING!

Well four horsemen apparently you didnt understand why the band walked on the field. well if you noticed, the beginning of the show was a skit. Yes in previous years the sousaphones, percussion and sometimes the band would have played from the sidelines but not this year. It would of been pointless and time consuming to march the band on the field, do the skit, march the band back off the field and start the show cause the skit had to be done in the front where it was done to make sense. It was a Saw 6 skit if you didnt get it. the band had the saw 6 prop as well but minutes before the show the actual saw 6 letters got damaged badly an had to be cut from the show but the skit still went on. But thanks for being concerned. but on a brighter note AT&T asked America to text in to see who had the better show and we WON. so the band got a check for $1500.00 for WINNING THE AT&T BATTLE OF THE BANDS HALFTIME SHOW, to also go along with the check the AAMU Alumni Trumpets gave for a nice total of $2600.00 to the band program. So apparently the only people that just dont like the band program and try to take shots at the program any given minute is the Four Horsemen. You know I wonder are you horsemen the same people that was in the tailgate talking the same thing about the band walking on the field last night. If so then thats sad cause you are FRAT! bruhs we are supposed to be building up the program instead of taking shots at it. your personal negative views shouldnt be on a public board. if you feel the way you do and need to express it then YOU should call Derrick K. Yates or Arthur B. Wesley II, and voice your concerns. if you need the number just ask or go to aamu.edu and look under faculty. the numbers are not hard to find.
On a positive note this was one of the better Classics we have had in awhile. The band won money, got house in the halftime show, sounded good in the stands and on the field, and got some good recruitment from the interested high schoolers that was there.

The Horsemen woke up this morning in Birmingham with a song in his head. Now you might say, "what is the Horsemen talkng about?" Have you ever seen a band walk on the field? Enjoy the song.

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
