Hello Family:

If you or someone you know is trying to wear their skinny jeans to Homecoming and needs to drop a few pounds, please visit www.losefatfastonline.com .

Fast, sustainable weight loss of up to a pound a day.

I did it. So can you.

Thanks.

Greetings,

We had a really tight budget for entertainment. During the 1984-85 school year, I was given a budget of $2000 by the SGA Treasurer Willie Patterson to rent four movies for movie nights. It was difficult trying to find movies with the limited funds the student body would enjoy. This was before much of today's technology, easy access, etc.

At one movie night in Bibb Graves, I used one of my grandmother's king sized sheets for a movie screen. We had to be creative with a small budget.

The industrial size popcorn popper rented for the night wasn't picked up before the rental company closed for the day. (The guys were supposed to do that! ha ha ha). So, I got this big idea to use my popcorn popper and those of several of my friends to pop popcorn. The line was long, people were getting aggravated...all of us were practically covered in oil!

Greetings Everyone,

I really wanted to make it back for the Miss Alabama A&M Queens reunion. However, my work schedule and my mommy schedule, wouldn't allow me to attend during that time. I look forward to future reunions.

AMEN, Brotherman!!! You were parliamentarian when I was a freshmen. Great Job! It was all about accountability back in those days.

Ok, here's my story. I joined SGA simply because I had it in for Ms. Battle. I got tired of her running things with an iron fist and spending our little student government money on herself and her pawns.

Second, I got tired of the financial aid office holding on to our refunds, causing us to get behind in our rents, while they were collecting all that interest on it and pocketing it without no allocation whatsoever. I tried to go after that issue but too many toes were jammed in the shoe already, and Corey told me to let it go. By the way I loved serving with Corey -he most likely kept me from getting kidnapped by Ms. Battle's cronies, cause I was trying to go for the jugular when the money trails surfaced.

Let's see, we were the executive members that put stipends into the by-laws! Thank us for that forever.

Hmmm, I can't think of much else other than using Corey's office as my personal motel.

Yeah, and Tracy was a trip...she had her own agenda and we had to cancel her contract. Everybody else was on point and believe me we all had ego's in our own way because most members were Greek or well spoken and I was the only ghetto negro on the committee, making sure we got Biggie, Craig Mack, and other rappers in on the budget before all the Church folks booked up all gospel acts.

I remember our budget was like $99K for EVERYTHING while Howard University's was like $900K... No wonder Puff was able to come up back in the day....

That's all I recall for now but maybe I'll remember more after someone jog a few memories... and yeah I was the Parliamentarian (no motions allowed!!)

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?
