Well Fellow Bulldog Educators,
Our big fun is rapidly coming to an end. I hope that everyone has a successful 2008-2009 school year. I pray that God protects your mind, body, and spirit. I would like to leave you with this quote by Vincent Van Gogh "Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do with such intensity that it becomes spiritual in calling."
As you enter those school doors this school year, please know that some are called but, few are chosen! Keep making a difference in the life of a young person.

Chanda,
Tell me more -- I was admitted into the Doctoral Curriculum & Instruction Program at Georgia Southern; however, our co-hort won't start until the summer. Also, since I have my Specialist, they took the majority of my hours.

Tell me more about the program for South Carolina -- I'll try to go online in the meantime....

Greetings Fellow Educators,
Continue to allow your rejeuvenated sprits from the summer to assist you in thriving throughout the school year. I remember when I was in the classroom and my memories of teaching bring back fond thoughts. Now, I am 220 days, so I returned long ago.

Yet, I see each year as a new beginning. May God's Blessings be Upon Each of You throughout the 2008-2009 school year.

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?

Are You Growing Stars? Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
