I don't know if we have any members from Newbern, Alabama, but the Sunshine High School Tigers were highlighted during the Halftime Show of NFL Sunday Night Football on NBC. This was this past Sunday. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see a mostly black, rural school from West Alabama getting props nationwide.

For those of you that have not yet decided on where you will be tailgating next weekend at the Magic City Classic or if by chance you have, we invite you to stop by or attend the 1st Annual 2008 Classic Tailgate hosted by the MMW Alumni. Proceeds from donations will be used to support future MMW Alumni events. This event will be catered by Momma Annies out of Huntsville , AL., owned by one of our very own, Micah (Mozart) Carter. Therefore if you did not get it all out of your system at Homecoming with the MMW Alumni, you have another chance to do so at this year's Magic City Classic! Donations are $30 per person, $60 per couple or family. Peace and Happy Classic Week!

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?

Are You Growing Stars? Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
