Everett Wess Capital murder defendant Cedrick "Main Main" Fenderson was convicted today on the lesser charge of manslaughter in a 2008 shooting in Birmingham's Norwood neighborhood that was sparked by a robbery days earlier.
Fenderson's lawyer, Everett Wess, argued that his client was acting in self-defense, but the jury rejected that claim.

Hello B'ham Bulldogs. The spirit is good and high but lets do more than just talk, lets walk the walk and support dear ole A&M. Your B'ham/Jefferson County Alumni Association needs your help. This site has 80 members and the Association has 100 active members. There should be 10,000 or more people in the Association from this area. There are many issues facing A&M (selecting a President and appointing trustees only to mention two)and the Alumni Association can only have power if it has active members to voice concerns of its graduates. By the way you don't have to be a graduate to join, you can be a friend of the school or a parent.

So lets give it the good old college try and consider joining and supporting your Alumni Association. If you are not in the B'ham/Jefferson County area join where you are. The dues is $75.00 a year for the national and local chapters. It is also tax deductable.
Come on BULLDOGS we can do it, We are only STRONG in NUMBERS.

Hey family! A cook out is a great idea Rodney. You know that I'm in North Carolina so it would be hard for me to put it together. For those of you that are in the area, by all means make it happen, give me a few dates and I'll do my best to come. Let me know!!!!

I got on this site at the end of the summer of 08. It would be great if we could have a cookout swim-party or something this summer Kesha.

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?

Are You Growing Stars? Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
