Sup everybody? For those who I communicate with through Myspace know a while back I was on a "let's get an A&M license plate for GA" drive. Since we now have this site with our alumni in one centralized location, this works out much better than Myspace. I noticed that another group was added for those who want a license plate in GA and just in case yall didn't know I wanted to share a lil info that I had...
In order for this to happen, we have to have at least 500 PAID applications in by July 31st of the yr preceding the year of issuance of the tags. It is a $25 application fee and $25 special tag registration fee. Which means 500 applications along with $25,000(500x50) has to be turned in at one time. So if we can get this done by July 31st of this year, the tags will be available starting 2009.
If you are interested or have any suggestions/comments or you think it will or won't work, plz join that group.

Let's start a list of those who are interested. I was so disappointed to have to get rid of my A & M license plate.. So, those of us who would like to represent AMU, let's do it. Can we get a list started??? I'm so tired of seeing those UGA tags. I know we have two from this address! Thanks Samiqua

EXTREMELY Interested. I have an A&M tag and I have lived in GA for 2 years. I refuse to get rid of my tag. I work for a city, here in Ga, and found out I can be fined for having an AL tag and a GA license. So to help a Sister from having to pay out the pocket, please let's get this thing going. Let me know where to sign!!!

So it is now September. What's the word? Did you get the 500 in time?

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?

Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
