Nortel Telecom Operations Administrator – Memphis, TN

We are looking for a Nortel Telecom Operations Technician for a 6 months contract or contract-to-hire position in Memphis, TN. Start immediate.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Demonstrated proficiency in Nortel PBX, ACD, Call Parrot, Call Pilot, Symposium, Telephony Manager, Element Manager, Switchview platforms and related VoIP technologies

* Knowledge of using ProComm Plus or other applications used for making changes in the PBX environment

* Knowledge of voice network design, implementation & support (T1/DS1, T3/DS3, OCx)

* Excellent troubleshooting skills

* Experience with a multi location environment

* Able to work without supervision

* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment

* Must follow through with all trouble tickets and service requests

I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone.
