Can someone please explain to me why this 'Live Network' site is no longer relevant? Where did the excitement of this site go? How come the "fire" has died?

I have also been wondering the same thing. The site was up to date, very informative and fun. I use to visit the site at least three times a week, now I might visit once every two weeks or less. Seem like there is no rotation of pictures, etc. Since the death of Eric Wagner (who did an excellent job of keeping us informed), the site has lost its zeal. I'm not sure if we need a webmaster or what. It will be up to us to keep the "fire" going and bring it back. Let's Go Bulldogs!!

Hey Robert Gerald,

I agree with Monec - people are interacting on other sites like Facebook and MySpace. I think its a lot of work to keep up with so many social networking profiles :) This tool is a quick way to find friends from AAMU though b/c there are some people who aren't listed on Facebook... So even if Live Network does nothing more than keep people connected by providing a directory (minus the interaction of facebook) its still useful!!!

I'm new here and was wondering the same thing. I joined hoping to get the inside scoop on what's happening at A&M and with alumni. So far all I have seen is alums trying to sell things . . . certainly there's more to this site than just being another ebay!

Football season is just around the corner maybe the chatter will increase.

Success is a Team Sport Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Recently, I've been approaching highway driving a little differently. I look for opportunities to help another motorist out. I try to be a bit more aware of a turn signal that I can respond to rather than driving in the zone. What would happen if we all approached highway driving with the focus on helping each other arrive safely at our destinations? What if it were a team effort?

Are You Growing Stars? Posted By : Cheryl E. Cook

Are you developing Rising Stars in your business or are they just Good-Luck-with-Getting-Your-Order-Right trainees? Are you laying out what you are expecting them to become? How do you set the stage for new employees, new contractors to become stars in your business?
